Here you can find a list with the requests (and respective documents) that a student may need during their graduate or undergraduate degree.
Undergraduate Requests
Student Request
This form must be sent to the teaching secretary, Julia Herrera. A copy must be sent to the student representatives (cacf.udec@udec.cl).
This form is used for:
- Request to undertake a course without having the pre-requisites
- Request an extension of the semester credits so the student can undertake more courses than originally permitted.
- Request the registration on complementary courses that were not available on the website during the regular registration period
- Request the registration on English courses, which are a requisite for the completion of the Bachelor’s Degree.
Guided Course Request
This form must be sent to the teaching secretary, Julia Herrera, and is used to request the creation of a special course not contemplated in the curriculum. A professor must agree to teach the course
Graduate Requests
Request to Drop a Course
This request allows students to drop courses that they have already signed up for. The filled-up form must be provided to Miss Soledad Daroch, the graduate secretary of the Physics Department.
Request to Modify the Thesis Title
To modify the title of a thesis (that is not yet finished) that is already in the filed in the system, the student must fill up this form and present it to Miss Soledad Daroch, the graduate secretary of the Physics Department.
Extension Request
This request allows a student to ask for an extension of the duration of their graduate degree, it can only be asked by students that are already writing their theses. The filled-up form must be provided to Miss Soledad Daroch, the graduate secretary of the Physics Department.
Request for Temporary Cessation of Studies
This request is for students that need to discontinue their studies in a graduate degree at the Department of Physics. The filled-up form must be provided to Miss Soledad Daroch, the graduate secretary of the Physics Department.
Reincorporation Request
A student that has halted their graduate studies at the Department of Physics and wishes to be reinstated will have to provide this filled-up form to Miss Soledad Daroch, the graduate secretary of the Physics Department.
